Who is the risk group?
1.Pregnancies of four months or more;
2.People with chronic diseases: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary (COPD), Heart disease, Asthma,
3.Kidney Failure Strokes, Diabetes and Cancer patients receiving chemotherapy;
4.People aged 65 years or above;
5.Children aged six months to two years;
6.People with cerebral palsy require full-time assistance;
7.People with Thalassemia and Immunodeficiency (Including HIV Infected and AIDS-defining illness); and
8.People weighing more than 100 kgs. or Body Mass Index (BMI) of 35kg/m² or higher
The National Health Security Office (NHSO), together with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), has been prepared four million doses of seasonal Flu vaccine (limited quantities) for eligibility. The vaccine can be received at public or private hospitals participating in the Universal Coverage Scheme (UCS_NHSO) program nationwide.
